About the role

The Case Support Worker provides culturally sensitive support to clients and carers, assisting with transport, appointments, and engagement in activities aligned with the client's Case Plan and Targeted Care Package (TCP) funding. The role supports children in exiting or avoiding residential care, working toward goals set within the TCP. Support is delivered in collaboration with the Key Worker and Team Leader, ensuring alignment with broader case objectives.

About You

The Case Support Worker assists Key Workers and Team Leaders in planning and delivering culturally respectful support aligned with client case plans and Targeted Care Package (TCP) goals. This includes transport, appointments, and participation in various activities. The role involves maintaining accurate case notes, adhering to VACCA’s policies, and actively participating in team meetings, supervision, and professional development. The worker supports organizational initiatives, upholds VACCA’s values and commitment to Aboriginal self-determination, and provides additional help during peak periods or staff absences.

  • Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work casual hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Willingness to enroll or complete relevant community services studies.
  • Valid Police Check, a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
