About the role

This role is primarily responsible for meeting VACCA’s priorities under our Fundraising and Philanthropy 3 year Action Plan and VACCA’s obligations as a registered Chairty. The role manages end to end fundraising and campaigns, philanthropic relationships, engagement with Corporate partners and managing VACCA’s shop and resources.

About You

• Awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal societies and cultures, along with awareness of the key issues which impact upon Aboriginal communities, and commitment to continually build knowledge in this area
• Sound knowledge of philanthropy and trusts, their processes and exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management
• Experience in end-to-end community fundraising approaches and innovation, individual giving, bequests and corporate sponsorships and partnerships.
• Knowledge of donor or customer-oriented databases; including creating and enhancing records, processes and procedures
• Qualification in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, including leading, mentoring and supporting staff
• Requirements: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
