About the role
The Care Services/Youth Team Leader will manage the Foster Care, First Supports and the Youth Engage programs. The Care Services/Youth Team Leader will manage the day-to-day operations of these programs with support from the Care Services Senior Program Manager
About You
A Diploma or Degree Qualification in Community Services, Social Work or a related discipline and/or demonstrated substantial experience in work with young people with complex needs or a combination of experience, expertise and competence sufficient to perform the duties required
Proven ability to collaborate and negotiate with government departments, Aboriginal services, and mainstream agencies.
Proficient understanding of the Child Protection system, the OOHC system, the Aboriginal Child Placement Principles and the Child Safe Standards
Requirements: Valid Police Check, a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
