About the role

Join VACCA’s Office of the Principal Practitioner – a passionate team driving culturally strong, therapeutic practice across the organisation. In this dynamic role, you’ll lead the implementation of our Cultural Therapeutic Ways (CTW) Practice Framework and support best practice through collaboration, guidance, and strategic influence. About You

In this role, you’ll champion the implementation of VACCA’s Cultural Therapeutic Ways (CTW) Practice Framework across the organisation. You'll design and deliver training, create high-quality resources, and lead reflective practice sessions with staff at all levels. Working closely with teams across programs, you’ll build strong relationships, provide expert consultation, and support the development of tools and systems to embed CTW into daily practice. From mentoring and facilitating working groups to representing VACCA in key forums, you’ll help shape culturally strong, therapeutic service delivery that makes a real difference.

• Requirements: 
• A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services or equivalent qualifications (or willing to obtain) and extensive relevant experience OR a combination of experience, expertise and competence sufficient to perform the duties required
• Valid Police Check, a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended).
