About the role

This is a dynamic and rewarding new role for an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment

You will play a vital role in supporting the Director and Legal Practice Division.

  • Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and daily schedule and workflow of the Legal Practice Director
  • Preparing and formatting a range of legal documents, including reports, letters and presentations with utmost accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintaining comprehensive filing systems and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive legal information.
  • Coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring effective follow-up on action items.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling inquiries and requests with professionalism and discretion.
  • Providing administrative support to the Legal Practice Division including coordinating travel arrangements, organizing events, managing supplies, and coordinating office operations.

About you:

To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, and a strong commitment to confidentiality and integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential. Experience in a legal or professional services environment would be highly advantageous

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in relevant diploma, degree or equivalent such as Business Administration. Mid to final year law students may also be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in high level administrative roles, including providing support to Executives. Alternatively relevant experience in the legal sector may also be considered.
  • Valid Police Check, a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
