About the role
The Executive Manager North oversees various VACCA North programs, sometimes sharing this responsibility with another Executive Manager. Both support the Director North and collaborate with senior managers within the Client Services Senior Leadership Group. As part of the Executive Team, the Executive Manager plays a key role in achieving VACCA’s vision, goals, and promoting its values across the organisation.
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to VACCA’s values, internally and externally championing them. They will have deep knowledge of Aboriginal cultures, extensive experience working with Aboriginal families and children, and managing programs in child and family services, including out-of-home care. Expertise in statutory child protection systems and relevant legislation is required, along with proven leadership, management, and strategic thinking skills. The role demands excellent communication, the ability to liaise with stakeholders, and experience in people, risk, and budget management, ensuring compliance within regulatory frameworks.
