About the role
The Case Support Worker will work alongside VACCA’s Family Services team to support the delivery of high-quality, culturally appropriate services to children, families, and carers. The role involves building casework skills by shadowing staff and, at times, supporting families on the waitlist. Support may include transport, financial assistance, and general guidance to help achieve better outcomes for families.
About You
This role involves supporting families and children through home visits, practical assistance, and cultural engagement to help improve outcomes. Responsibilities include accurately noting cases, transporting families as required, providing both written and verbal feedback on observations, and contributing to cultural events. The role also supports case managers with administrative tasks such as answering calls, sourcing information, filing, printing, and documenting meeting minutes.
