About the role
Make a real impact by supporting Aboriginal men to break the cycle of justice system involvement. As the Koorie Men’s Diversion Case Manager, you’ll provide intensive, culturally safe case management to a small caseload, helping clients access treatment, support, and advocacy tailored to their needs.
You’ll build strong partnerships with justice agencies and community services to create effective referral pathways and drive better outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful change through culturally grounded, person-centred support.
About You
This role delivers culturally responsive case management to Aboriginal men—and where appropriate, their families—diverted into the pilot program. You’ll coordinate referrals, develop tailored case plans, and support clients in accessing services to achieve their goals. Working closely with justice agencies and service providers, you’ll build strong networks to promote the pilot and create effective support pathways. The role includes direct service delivery such as outreach, advocacy, court support, and care team coordination, while also managing reporting, data, and contributing to service improvement. You’ll represent VACCA professionally, uphold cultural values, and engage in ongoing development to support meaningful justice outcomes.
