About the role
The Koorie Women’s Diversion Case Manager supports Aboriginal women to avoid further involvement in the justice system through tailored case management, culturally safe support, and strong advocacy. The role works closely with justice agencies and service providers to create meaningful pathways and better outcomes.
About You
The role provides culturally responsive case management to Aboriginal women and their families, coordinating referrals, developing case plans, and supporting clients in accessing services and transitioning from the program. It involves building strong relationships with justice and community agencies, promoting the program as a diversion pathway, and delivering direct support, including court advocacy, outreach, and care team coordination. The position also includes reporting, maintaining client records, contributing to program evaluation and improvement, and participating in professional development, while aligning with VACCA’s values and policies.
