About the role

The Case Manager role within Family Services supports Aboriginal children and families referred to VACCA, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Guided by cultural values and the spirit of self-determination, the Case Manager walks alongside families, helping them share their stories in their own way. Through trauma-informed and culturally safe practices, the role fosters healing, connection, and empowerment.

About You

The role supports Aboriginal families through culturally grounded outreach, healing on Country, and trauma-informed engagement. It empowers parents through mentoring, connection to culture, and respectful collaboration, fostering resilience, safety, and self-determination.

  • Requirements:
  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree qualification in Community Services, Social Worker and/or substantial experience in these fields
  • Valid Police Check, a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
