- Salary: $76,376 - $81,906 plus superannuation and salary packaging

About the role
The role of the Lakidjeka Case Administrator is responsible in providing administrative and case support to the Gippsland Lakidjeka ACSASS Team, maintaining data & client information systems for Senior Program Manager, &Team Leader.
Additionally, the role will assist in data entry for the Lakidjeka Team, work within a small team and report to a Team Leader and Senior Program Manager, liaise and develop a number of external relationships with Child Protection, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal services where appropriate.
Travel is required between both Morwell and Bairnsdale sites
About You
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding for the values that underpin VACCA’ vision and purpose
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an ability to share this knowledge with child protection and other services
- Understanding of the issues impacting on Aboriginal families that lead to child protection involvement
- Ability to work closely with child protection and other services to advocate for the child and support the best interests of children
- Ability to identify risk of harm to children and young people and undertake risk assessments within a cultural framework
- Demonstrated ability and experience working independently and within a small team.
- Sound administrative skills, including computer skills, record keeping including maintaining case notes, file maintenance and data recording in a complex and demanding work environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Requirements: Valid Police Check, a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended).
