About the role

This role provides leadership across VACCA’s family violence service delivery, policy, projects, and sector engagement, while supporting FV and Sexual Assault programs statewide. The Senior Manager, FV Initiatives, leads the FV Initiatives team, offers expert policy advice, represents VACCA in external forums, and drives best‑practice approaches through innovation and project delivery.

About You

You are an experienced leader in family violence policy, practice, and project delivery, with the ability to guide a team, drive best‑practice approaches, and strengthen culturally responsive services. You work confidently with stakeholders, provide high‑level policy and practice advice, oversee complex projects, and produce high‑quality written work. You promote quality service delivery, support practitioner development, and represent VACCA effectively in key sector forums.
  • Requirements: 
  • Appropriate qualifications in Social Work, Health Services or a related discipline
  • Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. 
  • Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
