About the role

As a Key Worker, you will walk alongside Aboriginal children, young people, families and carers, providing culturally safe and responsive case management that supports positive, lasting outcomes. Working with a dedicated caseload, you will build strong relationships, coordinate supports, and help children remain connected to their family, community and culture. You will play an important role in delivering and monitoring tailored support packages, ensuring each child's needs, goals and Cultural Support Plan are at the heart of the journey. Through collaboration, advocacy and cultural understanding, you will help create opportunities for children and young people to thrive.

About You

You are passionate about supporting Aboriginal children and young people to stay connected to family, community and culture. With strong relationship building and case management skills, you can work collaboratively with families, carers and service partners to achieve positive outcomes. You bring a culturally safe and strengths based approach, supporting young people to access education, employment and community opportunities while helping create stable, nurturing environments. You are organised, proactive and committed to maintaining high quality records, coordinating supports and advocating for the wellbeing and future of every child and young person in your care.

• Requirements:
• Minimum Education/ Qualification- Diploma of Community Services or equivalent
• Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
