About the role

As a Case Manager within our Family Services team, you will walk alongside Aboriginal children and families, providing culturally safe and trauma-informed support that strengthens wellbeing and builds on family strengths. Working closely with parents, carers, community partners and colleagues, you will help families share their story in their own way, identify their goals, and make decisions that support self-determination and positive outcomes for their children and future.

About You

You are passionate about walking alongside Aboriginal children and families, building strong relationships through culturally safe, trauma-informed practice. You listen deeply, value each family's voice, and support parents to build confidence, strengthen parenting skills, and achieve their goals. Through outreach, coaching, mentoring and practical support, you help families navigate challenges, celebrate strengths, and create positive change. You understand the importance of connection to culture, community and Country, and are committed to empowering families to make decisions, share their stories, and build futures grounded in strength, hope and resilience.

• Desirable:
• Certificate, Diploma or Degree qualification in Community Services, Social Worker and/or substantial experience in these fields
• Requirements:
• Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
• Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
