The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. About the role
This role plays a key part in bringing VACCA’s Organisational and Workforce Development Plan to life. You’ll coordinate and support initiatives that enhance career development, strengthen workforce retention, promote staff wellbeing, and foster a positive, inclusive employee experience. Working collaboratively across the organisation, the role provides coordination, communication, and reporting support for core workforce initiatives, particularly those shaping the early employee experience, helping to build a capable, well supported, and culturally strong workforce where people feel valued and connected.
About You
You bring a collaborative and organised approach to supporting organisational development initiatives that strengthen career pathways, workforce retention, wellbeing and employee experience. Working closely with the Organisational Development team, you contribute to the planning, delivery and review of workforce programs, coordinating workshops, events and projects that build staff capability and align with organisational priorities. You’re comfortable working with workforce data and systems, maintaining accurate records to support reporting, evaluation and continuous improvement. With strong communication skills and a high level of discretion, you engage confidently with stakeholders across the organisation while respecting confidentiality and contributing to a positive, engaging and culturally strong workplace.
- Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in Organisational Development, Human Resources, Learning and Development, Business Development or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
- Willingness and ability to travel within metropolitan and regional Victoria.
- Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
