About the role

In this role, you will lead a dedicated team walking alongside Aboriginal women and children on their journey to safety, healing and strength. You will provide guidance, support and cultural leadership to Family Violence Specialist Case Managers, ensuring families receive responsive, trauma-informed care through crisis support, refuge services and case management. Working closely with internal programs and community partners, you will nurture strong connections, support staff growth and help create pathways that empower families to thrive and stay connected to culture, community and Country.

About You

You are a passionate and culturally grounded leader who supports Aboriginal women, children and families to find safety, healing and strength. You bring experience in trauma-informed practice, leading teams, building strong community partnerships and delivering high-quality family violence services that create lasting positive outcomes.

  • Desirable:
  • A Bachelor level qualification in Family Violence, Child Welfare, or a related discipline
    Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership role
  • Requirements:
  • Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
