About the role

Work alongside VACCA, Jesuit Social Services, Anglicare, and local schools to help young people reconnect with education. Based in Brunswick and Preston, you’ll provide assessments, create re-engagement plans, and support families and students on their learning journey. This role builds strong community partnerships and walks with young people to achieve positive outcomes.

About You

You’re passionate about walking alongside young people and families, offering advocacy and support through a trauma-informed, relational approach. You build strong connections with schools, community services, and cultural programs to help students re-engage with learning. You bring creativity and cultural pride into education, sourcing resources that strengthen identity and self-esteem. You work closely with families, develop individual learning plans, and share insights that improve outcomes. Collaboration, mentoring, and cultural respect are at the heart of everything you do.

• Requirements:
• Hold a tertiary qualification in Community Services, Education, Social Work or similar.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in the Education system
• Valid Police Check, a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
