About the role

The Program Manager - Cultural Programs, ALCC and projects is responsible for overseeing a range of key initiatives to ensure effective, high-quality services. This role focuses on achieving funding targets, meeting compliance requirements, and involves programs like Lakidjeka ACSASS, Cultural Support Plans, ALCC and Projects, Aboriginal Family Led Decision Making. The Program Manager provides leadership and support to staff within these programs, working closely with the Western Management Team for successful collaboration.

About You

• Demonstrated commitment and understanding for the values that underpin VACCA’ vision and purpose.
• Demonstrated awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal societies and cultures, and commitment to continually build knowledge of such, along with a high level of awareness of the key issues which impact upon Aboriginal communities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with Aboriginal organisations and workers, and key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated and proven leadership capabilities including experience in successfully developing, managing, and motivating large teams.

Requirements: Valid Police Check, a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
