About the role

Every child deserves to grow strong in culture, connection and belonging. As the Senior Therapeutic Case Manager, you will walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people in Therapeutic Foster Care, supporting their healing journey and strengthening their connection to family, community and culture.
Working with carers, the Healing Team and colleagues, you will provide culturally grounded therapeutic support, mentor team members and help ensure children receive safe, responsive and nurturing care.

About You

You walk alongside Aboriginal children on their healing journey, helping them stay connected to culture, family and community. With a strong understanding of trauma informed practice, you support carers, guide care teams and advocate for the best interests of children, creating safe, nurturing pathways where young people can grow strong in identity, belonging and wellbeing.

• Requirements:
• Minimum of a completed Diploma of Community Services or relevant qualification in Social
  Worker or related disciplines.
• Extensive experience in case management, or related discipline is required.
• Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. 
• Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
